Kristen (Cox) Lotz & TJ Lotz

After we graduated from High School, I started my college career at the prestigious Dixie State College.  I graduated from Dixie in 2003 with my Associate of Arts degree.  Since I was waiting for TJ (he was on a mission in Orlando, FL), I conveniently decided to stay at Dixie to finish my Bachelor’s Degree.  I was accepted into their Elementary Education program and started the upper division classes in the Fall of 2003.
TJ got home from his mission in September of 2004.  Our relationship picked up right where we left off and we were engaged on Christmas Eve of 2004 and married on January 29, 2005.  In May of 2005 I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and TJ graduated from Dixie with his Associates of Science degree.  We found out a couple weeks later that we were expecting our first baby (surprise!), Kate Lynn.
We moved to Provo in August of 2005 so TJ could attend BYU.  I got a job teaching third grade in American Fork.  I only taught one year and since then I’ve been a stay at home Mom.
TJ graduated from BYU with a degree in Construction Management in December of 2008.  We had our second baby (a boy, Jonas James) in January of 2008 and we finished building, and moved into, our new house in March of 2008.  We had our third baby, Hailey Jean, in May of 2010.  TJ works as a Proposal Manager for Big-D Construction in Lindon, UT and I get to stay home and take care of our cute kids who are now 5, 3, and 1.
Some of my favorite memories from high school were hanging out with the wrestler boys and being teased non-stop by them; dating TJ; skim boarding; playing dunkball and football with TJ, Marc Fisher, Eves and who knows who else; the American Indian clas, especially the Indian coded emails from Abby L. and Marcy K., that was a big waste of time; choir trips; laying out at the lake with all the girls; the Washington Canal with Tiff Fry and Meg Lev; my piece of crap Landcruiser; football games; taking Tiff Fry to see the “Witch’s Ball” at the cemetery – she was so scared she almost peed her pants'; Physics class; playing fugitive; going to Charlie’s; dances; wrestling meets... oh man, there are just way too many memories!  I loved high school!

Samantha (Shaffer) Watson

After graduation I went to Dixe State College for an Associate's Degree in Elem. education in hopes of being a teacher someday. During my last year I was working at Steamroller Copies and met my future husband, Leland Watson. He worked at the other Steamroller in Hurricane. He is from Toquerville. We dated for about a year and he moved up to Salt Lake to go to the U, so soon after that I followed him up there. About a year later we were married in Oct 2004. We have lived in Salt Lake ever since then. My hubby got his Bachelor's Degree in Music in 2006 and began teaching Band in elementary and middle schools. As soon as he got that teaching job we decided it was finally time to have kids - finally. I have two kids, Bailey 3.5yrs and Taylor 1yr. During this whole time I have been working for Fedex Office (aka Kinkos) and now just work part time. Still to this day, I can't believe I married a band teacher :) I can't believe 10 years have already gone by since high school, but I am sure glad of what has happened in my life since then. I am loving being a mother to two beautiful and smart children and to have such a hard working husband!

My favorite memories of high school are: I was in a choir every year and senior year I was in two. Getting up early to go to Trilogy was fun, but I don't think I was ever on time. I miss Mr. Lister, he was the greatest! If I wasn't hanging in the choir room I was staying after school in the Art room, I was such a big geek! I will never forget Mr. Jones, he let me do as many pots as I wanted, and he always pushed me to go into Art in college. I remember hangin' in Mrs. Lafaele's room during lunch or whenever, she always let me even if I was ditching another class and she always had a movie on or something funny going on. I loved going to the dances, and football games and the stomps afterwards. I really enjoyed Seminary and always saw it as an escape from the high school dramas! Can't wait to hear about what everyone else has been up to, and hope everyone is doing what they love!

Abby (Lundin) Tatton

(my sister, me, my mom)  only pic i could find

A month after we graduated I started Hairschool at Evans Hairstyling College.  Graduated one year later in the summer of 2002.  Shortly after decided to move to Provo.  I worked in a salon in provo and lived with Abby Taylor and some other people I didn't know.

Met Bronson Tatton a few months later.  We lived in the same apartment complex and we were in the same ward.  And he was also randomly roomates with Lacey Rynearsons brother, Scott.  We hung out here and there for a couple months and then started dating in February of 2003.  I planned on going to BYU Hawaii that coming summer but decided to stay home and get married instead.  We were married in August of 2003.

We lived in Provo, Virgina, and Orem the first 3 years of marriage and then after Bronson graduated from BYU we moved to Logan where we spent 2 1/2  years there while bronson got his masters.

We now live in Farmington, Utah.  We've been in davis county since 2008 and are hoping someday to make it back to southern utah to the sunshine:)

We have 2 boys Sam (5) and Henry 1 1/2 and a third boy due on July 15th.  We are in for it!  But we are so excited!

I have so many favorite memories from highschool I don't even know where to begin!!  I loved all the dances, Basketball games, Football games, stomps, etc.  Loved going to maren hackers house for lunch everyday!  Loved soccer and Track and choir.  Drive-by's, working at charlies, swimming at the boulders pool, the red convertible, and the green suburban, assemblies… The list could go on!  I loved highschool!!

Tiffany (Fry) McDuffie

Wow!  I can't believe it's been 10 years!  After graduating from high school, I went right into good 'ol Evans Hairstlying College and got my Cosmetology license a year later.  I had a few adventures to Long Beach, California, and to BYU-Hawaii.  I attended Dixie State College for a year total while working as a hairstylist full time to save up and go up to Provo, Utah.  I went to UVSC (now UVU) and worked towards getting my pre-req.'s done to go into their Nursing Program, while cutting hair.  That was the best decision I ever made!  I had the best roommates who I still keep in contact with to this day!  There I met Morgan McDuffie, and became good friends with him and his roommates.  It was love at first sight (just don't ask my husband for the whole story :)), and we soon were dating, engaged and married in June of 2005.  We moved to Provo for schooling when surprise!...I was pregnant!  Morgan got a job instead and it all worked out for the best.  We soon came back down to St. George for job opportunities, got into a beautiful home and Savanna soon came after.  15 months later we had our little girl Gracie!  After a grueling process, Morgan was hired as a Seminary Teacher for the LDS church and now works at Pine View High School--->  I have to laugh about that!  Of all the places he could be teaching, he's at good 'Ol Pine View!  18 months after Gracie, Joshua came, and he is my little man!  My husband finished his Masters and I teach Preschool out of the home, which is challenging but so fun!  We have a 4, 3, and 2 year old and a little boy, Caleb, on the way due in May!  About 2 years ago, we added onto our home and have Morgan's Dad, Dennis, living with us.  Life is crazy, but we couldn't be happier and just love our little piece of Heaven on earth.

My absolute favorite memories from High School would have to be swim team, all the friends, and all the swim trips, but I sure do not miss the hard hard workouts!  I loved floating at the lake with the gals, and floating down the canal...I remember Kristen Cox, Megan Leavitt and I busting up for an hour trying to get out of the canal...good times!  I loved getting ready and all dressed up for the dances and going and seeing how pretty everyone else looked.  I loved loved loved the basketball and football games.  I loved "supermanning" it out of the Jeep to go see the witch's ball in the grave yard.  I loved concert choir, Mr. Page, lunches at friends' houses, Charlies, and all the friends I made.  I just wish I hadn't been so shy and got to know a lot more people.  I'm excited to see how everyone is and what everyone has done!

Jared Buhanan-Decker

After HS graduation I went on a mission to San Fernando, California. Then shortly after returning home I met the girl of my dreams at a fellow 01'er's house, Aaron Stapley, while playing a rousing game of Settlers of Catan. Sharry and I dated for a couple of years, then were engaged and married the winter of 2006. We had a pretty awesome honeymoon where we backpacked through Europe for six weeks the cheapest anyone has ever done it. We did it camping, eating bread and cheese from little grocery bags we carried around, sleeping at rail stations (we pretty much were foreign bums) and when we were feeling ritzy in hostels. I graduated from Dixie with my Associate and then transferred clear up to SUU. While there I got my BS in Social Sciences Secondary Education. We then decided since we both graduated we might as well go teach English abroad. So we moved to South Korea where we were each responsible for an entire elementary school. I grew to love kimchi and Korean BBQ and to appreciate a very different culture. I am currently in Grad School through the UofU working to be a school counselor and should finish Spring 2012. No kids but we did put some roots down and got a cute little kitty last fall. Oh and I think I've put on like 30-40 lbs, married life and a love for eating will do that to you. (o:

HS memories: fun dances and the crazy nerves that came with those, what happens when you can't dance and are with whatever girl you had a crush on at the time. Cross country was good times not so much for the running (not good times, bad times) but for all the fun folks on it, math class with Mr. Christensen all three freaking years and watching him play Star Craft or whatever it was during class, the fabulous Mr Page, gummi worming, making cat cutouts and freaking out cars, sophomore girls, senior trip to San Diego and Tijuana, loads of fun concerts, journalism, and all you good people. High School was fun, horrible, crappy, amazing, happy, depressing, full of friends, lonely and so much more.

Alyssa (Cunningham) Shrout

After graduating, I immediately trained for and ran my first St. George marathon. I went to Dixie for 2 years where I got my Associates Degree. I also served on the Institute Council where I met my husband, Will Shrout (Dan Shrout's older brother). We got married in July 2003, and transferred up to BYU that fall. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, where I taught for a year as an intern teaching 2nd grade. I did a couple of long-term substitute jobs for a few months. I stay home now with my sweet, yet rambunctious two little boys! Ian is 4 1/2 and Calvin is 2 1/2. We are expecting our third boy in March 2011. I love spending my free time writing YA fantasy and reading anything I can get my hands on!

Memories: Writing ongoing comic book with Georgia in Mr. Talbot's AP History class; CRAZY group dates with Georgia M., Chrissy C., Kori B., Kiarah C., Crystal F., Holly W., Cindy K., Heidi H., Nate W., Dustin H., Jared D., Jon S., Spencer E., Cameron M., etc; fun cross-country trips; going to Charlie's, Mr. Page's class (the video with the earthquake drill and him putting the stool on his head), band trips, pep band, Mr. Holt, choir trips, being late to first period Journalism daily, eating lunch in Seminary building hallway, Honor Society meetings with Alison K., Bro. Ford's scripture mastery cards, watching movies in Spanish (that I can never watch again in English) in Sr. Geiger's class, having my locker next to cool Crystal F., sitting next to Chris C. in Mr. Cottle's math class trying to figure out proofs, Wet 'n Wild Sr. Sluff trips, studying like crazy for AP tests/ACT test, DMB concerts with Nate W., Dustin H., Spencer E., and Jon S., girls' nights sleepovers and drive-bys, crashing the boys' campout at 3 a.m. Whew. That just exhausted my pregnant brain...

Pam (Haslem) Dana

Wow, 10 years... part of me is shocked that I've already been graduated for 10 years and the other part barely seems to remember High School and all the fun (drama) that came with it!  After High School I attempted a little college at DSC and then thought I would attempt to experience life outside St. George in Logan, but it also was short lived.  I was back in St. George by 20 and haven't left since!  I truly love Southern Utah and am so grateful that I have been able to start my own family here.  I worked for about 5 years between Southern Utah Title and First American Title as an Escrow Officer (the person that signs the papers with you when you buy a house or refinance your house).  During that time I met my husband, Scott and we were married in January 2006.  Believe it or not we actually met at our LDS singles ward!  Scott is from Grantsville, UT (West of SLC in Tooele County) and he is a Graphic and Web Designer.  We have our own design business Dana Six, but he mainly contracts with H&S Performance (Bentley Hugie's company).  I loved working and learning, but jumped at the opportunity to be home once we decided to start our own family.  We had our first son, Nathan, in July 2008 and our lives were forever changed.  Nathan is a little mini-Scott, but we are discovering he has his mother's attitude and patience (or lack of) very quickly!  Jeffrey Von joined our family in May 2010.  We thought we were going to get a little passive guy, but his little personality is quickly making us think otherwise.  He is opinionated and wants what he wants!  Between making sure they are fed, doing housework, and wiping bums we are laughing, crying, and fit throwing (them and us), but we are one dang happy little family!  We are also lucky enough for our boys to have 17 of their 22 cousins all here in Southern Utah. As a family we love to ride dirt bikes and 4 wheelers, go camping, go on trips, play at the park, have popcorn movie nights, and hang out with all our friends and family!

What do I remember from HS?  My head goes directly to all the teams I played on, mainly Soccer and Basketball!  Those were some good times!  Eating Charlie's sandwiches, Pasta Factory the night before a game, bus trips, N Sync, Damn Gina's, Page bball tournament, swimming after soccer tryouts, really the list could go on forever!  I also remember good times with Gordo (Jessica Gordon) and let's not forget all the fun HS boyfriend memories!  haha :)  Oh and restitution.  Sadly, I spent way to much time there!  I hope everyone is healthy and happy and can't wait to catch up with everyone at the reunion!
